Meditation & Mindfulness for Depression

Mindfulness meditation has been shown to give people a sense of control over their own depression and alleviate the symptoms of depression according to a study published in Feb 2013. Previous studies have also found that mindfulness meditation can reduce recurrence of depression by 50% and neuroimaging scans have shown significant positive change in the brain activity of people who practise meditation long term.
